Dr Ken has overall responsibilities over the IRPA's projects and assignments. He is an Advocate of the High Court with over 20 years of experience. He has served as a Commissioner with the Interim Independent Electoral Commission (IIEC) where he was the Chairman of the Legal Committee and together with heading the Constitutional Referendum Committee.
Additionally, he recently served on the Task Force on Devolved Government mandated with creating structures to implement devolution. Together with being a proficient legal draftsman, he has provided extensive consultation on Human Rights, International Law, Land Law, Governance, Administrative of Justice and Devolution. He is the current Chairman of Kituo Cha Sheria, a leading Human Rights Organisation and is also the Secretary of the Council of ICJ-Kenya. He is a Fellow of the American Bar Association, South African Institute for Advanced Constitutional, Public, Human Rights and International law, as well as the United Nations University. He is completing his PhD in Public International Law (Human Rights) at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
